Mount Carmel is the county seat of Wabash County, and it sits on the Wabash River with Indiana right across the water. Our list here is shorter than in some towns, but it's a good mix. There are a few plants and machine shops, some restaurants and bars, a couple of oil producers, a motel, a church, an electrical contractor, a body shop, and a jeweler.
