After-hours emergency service available.
From South Hall Street we cover Princeton, Evansville, Vincennes, and Washington, and we take care of schools, hospitals, stores, offices, plants, and mines.
Gibson County gives this shop some big jobs. There’s an auto plant that runs a lot of extinguishers, a coal mine whose equipment carries its own suppression systems, and excavating and dirt-moving outfits with machines that need the same. Around town our list also has restaurants, fire departments, churches, lodges, and public buildings.
We recharge on site when we can. Our trucks carry loaners. If an extinguisher has to come back to the shop, a loaner goes up in its place until yours is back.
We do more than extinguishers, too. We inspect, test, service, and repair fire alarm systems, and we put in new ones. We also put in security systems and cameras. An excavating or dirt-moving outfit with machines parked in a yard might want cameras on the gate and the equipment. A lodge or a church that sits empty between meetings can use cameras on the doors and the lot, and a fire department or a public building can add access control to the side doors. We can set up monitoring on your security system and your fire alarm, so somebody is watching when the building’s empty. It’s one company and one number for all of it.

Who we work for in Princeton
We work for businesses all over Princeton, and here are a few of them. We keep up the extinguishers at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana, with the inspections, recharges, and hydro tests a plant that size needs. At Gibson County Coal, we work on the suppression systems on the mine equipment. We also handle the extinguishers and equipment systems for A&B Dirt Moving, and fire alarm and security work at The Pathway Church.
How it works
01
Get in touch
Call or send the quote form, and we’ll set up the visit.
02
We come to you
A tech walks the building and finds every extinguisher, light, and system that’s due.
03
We service it and leave a report
Every extinguisher gets inspected and serviced, and you get a report for the fire marshal and your files.
04
We keep the due dates
You don’t have to think about them.
Compliance
Indiana writes its own fire code and has its own state fire marshal, and the inspector who comes through has the final say. Underneath all of that, portable extinguishers go by NFPA 10, the national standard, and that’s what our Indiana techs work to. We leave a report that stays with the site.
The coal mines answer to MSHA, the federal mine safety agency, and the plants work to OSHA. If your site uses Avetta as well, our reports carry what it’s looking for.
Questions
- Where is the Princeton shop?
- It’s at 213 S Hall St, Princeton, IN 47670, and it’s open 8 to 5 on weekdays. It’s the one First-Line shop in Indiana, and the techs who work out of it are ICC certified and factory trained. They come in a company truck and in uniform.
- Do you service the suppression systems on mine and dirt-moving equipment?
- Yes. At the mine we work on both surface and underground equipment, and we do the same for the loaders, dozers, and the rest of an excavating fleet. A machine with a dry chemical system on it gets that system serviced every six months, at your yard or at the mine.
- We run a restaurant in Princeton. What’s due, and how often?
- The hood system over the cook line is due every six months, and our tech can service it while you’re cooking. The extinguishers get their yearly service, and the cook line needs a Class K beside it. Your ABC extinguishers work on grease too, but the Class K is the one made for a kitchen fire.
- Can you train our people?
- Yes. Employees get extinguisher training when they start and every year. We’ll bring that training to your building. Call 1-800-348-9604 and we’ll set a time.
Our Princeton trucks are in Evansville more than once a week. See fire extinguisher service in Evansville.
