Fire Protection Service in Evansville, IN

Served from our Princeton shop

First-Line technician checking the valve on two red fire extinguishers in the shop

Our techs come down US 41 from the Princeton shop, so you never have to haul anything in.

We work Evansville out of our Princeton, Indiana shop on South Hall Street, about 29 miles down US 41. Princeton is our Indiana shop, and it runs the same way our Kentucky shops do.

What we see around Evansville

Evansville is the third-biggest city in Indiana and the center of the tri-state. There are plastics, packaging, chemical, aluminum, and auto plants around town, plus a lot of trucking, storage, and freight on the river.

A plant with a process line or flammable materials usually needs more than extinguishers on the wall. When it does, we match the system to the hazard, whether that’s a suppression system, an engineered system, or a special hazard system. Trucks and yard equipment get vehicle suppression.

Hospitals, schools, and offices have a lot of exit signs, emergency lights, and alarm panels. We service those along with the extinguishers.

Down by the river there are plenty of restaurants and bars, and every cook line has a hood system over it. We service it every six months, and we can work while the kitchen is cooking. That’s UL 300 kitchen suppression.

Indiana has its own fire code and its own state fire marshal. We leave a report that works for your inspector and your files.

Our trucks carry loaners. If an extinguisher has to come back to the shop, a loaner goes up in its place until yours is back.

We do more than extinguishers, too. We inspect, test, service, and repair fire alarm systems, and we put in new ones. We also put in security systems and cameras. A trucking or storage outfit might want cameras covering the docks, the trailers, and the gate. A bar or a restaurant down by the river might want them at the side door and over the parking lot at closing time, and an office building can use access control to set whose badge opens which floor. We can set up monitoring on your security system and your fire alarm, so somebody is watching when the building’s empty. It’s one company and one number for all of it.

On the river

If you run towboats around Evansville, that’s our river and marine work. Our techs catch a ride out and board the boat while it’s working. If it’s your own boat on the Ohio, that’s pleasure craft. We do the extinguishers on it, and we install and service the fire system in the engine compartment too.

Evansville, Darmstadt, McCutchanville, Highland, Melody Hill, Inglefield, St. Joseph, and St. Wendel, plus Haubstadt and Fort Branch on the way down US 41. Across the river: Henderson, KY. Up the road: Princeton, IN.

Who we work for in Evansville

We work for businesses all over Evansville, and here are a few of them. Compliance

Every portable extinguisher we service in Evansville is done to NFPA 10, the national extinguisher standard. The local fire inspector and the state fire marshal decide what passes in your building, and we do the work to what they want.

The yards, plants, and job sites have OSHA to answer to as well, and mine work answers to MSHA, the federal mine safety agency. If a site uses Avetta, our reports have what it looks for.

Evansville questions

Which shop do the Evansville trucks come out of?
Our Princeton, Indiana shop at 213 S Hall St, Princeton, IN 47670. The Princeton trucks make it down to Evansville more than once a week.
You’re a Kentucky company. Can you work Indiana sites?
Yes. Princeton is our Indiana shop, and Evansville is on its route.
Can you train our crew on site?
Yes. We bring live-fire extinguisher training to your place, on your schedule, so your people put out a real fire instead of watching slides.
We run a fleet. Can you put suppression on trucks and equipment?
Yes. We install and service vehicle suppression on trucks, loaders, and the rest of your equipment.
We’re opening a restaurant. What does the kitchen need?
You’ll want a hood system over the cook line, serviced every six months, and our techs can do that service while you’re cooking. Next to the line goes a Class K extinguisher, and the rest of the building gets ABC extinguishers, which work on grease too. If you’re moving into a space with an older hood system, have us look at it before you open, because an older system that isn’t UL 300 has to be replaced.
