Your boat should have the right extinguisher on it, and it should work when you need it.
A fire on a boat is worse than one on land, because you can’t just walk away from it. We sell the right extinguishers for your boat, mount them where you can reach them, and inspect and service them so they’re ready. If your boat needs more than a handheld, we match the system to the hazard and take care of that too. We keep the due dates. You don’t have to think about them.
What it is
Most boats just need the right handheld extinguishers, mounted where you can grab one fast. Some boats need a suppression system that goes off on its own if a fire starts in the engine compartment. We look at your boat and tell you which it needs. If it needs a system, we can put one in, or service the one that’s already there.
How the job goes
- You tell us where the boat is: at the dock, on a lift, or in the yard.
- We come to it. You don’t have to haul it in.
- We make sure you have the right extinguishers and mount any that are missing.
- We inspect and service the extinguishers, and the system if there’s one on board.
- We leave a report.
After it’s in
Give each extinguisher a look once a month while the boat’s in use. If the needle on the gauge is out of the green, or one’s been knocked loose, call us.

If it goes off or can’t wait
If an extinguisher gets used or a system goes off, the boat shouldn’t go back out until it’s recharged. Call. Our 24-hour service will get it ready.
