Clarksville is the county seat of Montgomery County and sits right next to Fort Campbell, and it's one of the faster-growing places we cover. Here's what the businesses in town need from us and how we take care of it.
Our techs are certified and licensed, and they come in a company truck and in uniform. We're licensed and fully insured. Your doors stay open while we inspect. We leave a report.
A lot of Clarksville work is tied to Fort Campbell, and the contractors around the post carry extinguishers on trucks, trailers, and job sites that keep moving. Those extinguishers get bounced around all day, and they still need their yearly inspection and their hydro tests like any other. Equipment that runs hot or carries fuel may need a suppression system of its own.
Out in the industrial parks, like the Clarksville-Montgomery County Corporate Business Park, there are plants with fuel, solvents, dust, and electrical rooms all under one roof. One kind of extinguisher doesn't fit every corner, so we match the extinguisher to the hazard. When a handheld isn't enough for a paint line or a machine, that's a suppression system. Dry chemical systems are serviced every six months.
Montgomery County has data centers now, and a data center is mostly rooms full of servers and electrical equipment. Some of those rooms can't take water or powder, so they get a special hazard system instead. In the server rooms, the extinguisher should be a clean agent like Cleanguard+. It won't damage the equipment, and the bigger sizes carry an A rating, so they also cover the paper, wood, and plastic in the room. By the electrical panels, CO2 is a good fit. It isn't the pick for the server racks, though, because the cold discharge can thermal-shock sensitive electronics. Both still need their yearly inspection like every other extinguisher in the building.
A commercial cook line needs a hood system over it, and so do a lot of the food trucks around town. We service hood systems every six months, and we can work while the kitchen is cooking. The ABC extinguishers around a building work on grease, but a commercial cook line also gets a Class K, and we look after that one too.
Schools, clinics, and senior care buildings have long hallways full of exit signs and emergency lights, and every one of them has to come on when the power goes out. At the yearly visit we run the full 90-minute battery test on every one, along with the extinguishers. Apartment complexes have extinguishers in breezeways, laundry rooms, and the clubhouse kitchen, and they all count. If you've got sprinklers, we handle those through a sprinkler company we work with.
The I-24 side of town has a lot of warehouse and distribution space, with racks and forklifts over a lot of square feet, and the extinguishers there have to stay where people can reach them, not behind a parked pallet.
We do more than extinguishers, too. We inspect, test, service, and repair fire alarm systems, and we put in new ones. We also put in security systems and cameras. A warehouse on the I-24 side or a plant in the business park might want cameras on the docks and the gates. An apartment complex might want them on the parking lots and breezeways, and a school can use access control to decide who gets in which doors. We can set up monitoring on your security system and your fire alarm, so somebody is watching when the building's empty. It's one company and one number for all of it.
Wherever you are, we recharge on site when we can. Our trucks carry loaners. If an extinguisher has to come back to the shop, a loaner goes up in its place until yours is back. Employees get extinguisher training when they start and every year after that, and we can do that training for you. If something gets discharged or a system goes off, our 24-hour service is there day or night.
